Telefónica de España entscheidet sich beim Ausbau ihres Breitbandnetzes für Alcatel

Alcatel liefert Zugangs- und Aggregationslösungen sowie optische Netzkomponenten an Telefónica de España. Nach dem Ausbau der Netzinfrastruktur wird der spanische Telekommunikationsbetreiber seinen Privat- und Geschäftskunden interaktive Dienste mit hoher Bandbreite zur Verfügung stellen.

Die integrierte und flexible Architektur der Alcatel-Technologie ermöglicht höhere Bandbreiten pro Nutzer bei gleichzeitig bester Dienstegüte. Auf diese Weise kann Telefónica de España den Privatkunden künftig personalisierte Multimediadienste wie IPTV, Video on Demand oder HDTV anbieten und für die Unternehmenskunden gleichzeitig VPN-Dienste (virtual private network) bereitstellen.
