AEROFLEX® übernimmt FIRO®

Am 08. Oktober 2012 unterzeichneten der Präsident der Eastern Polymer Industries, (EPI) Dr. Pawat Vitoorapakorn und der Geschäftsführer der AEROFLEX® Europe GmbH mit Sitz in Ulm, Roland Baumann, den Übernahmevertrag mit der FIRO GmbH, Warstein, im Rahmen eines Asset-Deals. Über den Kaufpreis wurde Stillschweigen vereinbart. Beide Seiten zeigten sich hocherfreut über die Lösung: so können zunächst 15, später ca. 25 Arbeitsplätze in Warstein erhalten bleiben.

Die Produktion wird umgehend in dem bisherigen Werk wieder aufgenommen.

Die Verantwortlichen der AEROFLEX® Europe rechnen mit einer vollständigen Lieferfähigkeit ab der zweiten Novemberhälfte 2012.

AEROFLEX® wird die Produkte der FIRO GmbH weiterführen. Sie verfügen über die neue CE-Zertifizierung, Ü-Zeichen und VDI-Zulassung. Der Vertrieb erfolgt über die AEROFLEX® Zentrale in Ulm.

EPI verfügt nun neben den zwei Stammwerken in Thailand, zwei Werken in China und einem Werk in den USA, auch über ein Werk in Europa, wo man bisher unterrepräsentiert war.

Die Produktion der bisherigen AEROFLEX®-Produkte soll Zug um Zug in das Werk der AEROFLEX® Europe GmbH in Warstein verlagert werden. Mittelfristig ist vorgesehen, die Produktion noch um eine weitere Produktlinie zu erweitern.

Die AEROFLEX® EUROPE GmbH ist ein Joint Venture zwischen der AEROFLEX Co., Ltd, Thailand (40%) und der Baumann GmbH, Ulm (60%).
