Tageslicht taugliche LED Touch PCs und Monitore für die Industrie

Für Anwendungsbereiche mit schwierigen Lichtverhältnisse wie zum Beispiel hinter großen Glasfassaden hat die Industrial Automation Gruppe Advantechs eine Serie von Geräten vorgestellt, die speziell ausgelegt sind, um gute Ablesbarkeit bei intensiver Sonneneinstrahlung zu gewähren. Mit 1000 cd/m² sind die Displays der Geräte auch für den Außeneinsatz geeignet. Dieser Vorteil gegenüber Standard Displays mit 300 - 400 cd/m² wird u. A. auch durch die verwendete Optical Bonding Technologie erreicht. Hierbei wird die Lücke zwischen Glas und LCD ausgefüllt, was die Struktur des Displays verstärkt und weniger als 0,2% Reflektion auf der Oberfläche ermöglicht. Dank dieser Eigenschaften wurde der TPC-1251SR nun sogar mit dem Engineers Choice Award 2013 ausgezeichnet.

Wie die beiden anderen verfügbaren Modelle TPC-1551SR und FPM-3151SR ist er für den Einsatz unter rauen Bedingungen mit extremen Temperaturen von -20 bis 60° C ausgelegt. Das Energy Star Label qualifiziert alle drei Geräte für die Green Automation. Die 12 und 15 Zoll Touch Panel Computer (TPC) sind mit SVGA und XGA Displays und Intel Atom Prozessor ausgestattet, während der XGA Flat Panel Monitor (FPM) neben resistivem Touchscreen über direct VGA und DVI Ports verfügt.
