Die Yukatel GmbH wurde im Jahr 1995 von Yusuf Karataş, dem heutigen Geschäftsführer, ins Leben gerufen. Das Unternehmen ist auf den Mobilfunk-Großhandel spezialisiert und bietet mit seinen Eigenmarken routecontrol, YUKA.digital M2M Portal zusätzlich innovative Hard- und Softwarelösungen in den Bereichen GPS-Telematik sowie M2M/IoT an. Zu Beginn des Geschäftsjahres 2021 wurde bekanntgegeben, dass der bisherige COO, Mehmet Karataş, in die Geschäftsführung berufen wurde. Seitdem wird das Unternehmen am Standort Dreieich von den beiden Geschäftsführern Yusuf und Mehmet Karataş geleitet.

Im April 2024 erfolgte der Umzug in die neue Unternehmenszentrale in Dreieich-Sprendlingen. Auf einer Gesamtfläche von 15.000 Quadratmetern vereint das Gebäude großzügige Büro- und Lagerflächen. Die moderne Architektur mit der auffälligen Glasfassade, die das Firmenlogo widerspiegelt, prägt das neue Firmengelände. Die Anschrift Yuka-Platz 1 ehrt den Gründer Yusuf Karataş, nach dem der Platz benannt wurde.
