Stema Metalleichtbau GmbH

Der einstige „VEB STEMA Ofenbau“ (STEMA von „STanz- und EMAillierwerk“) in Großenhain/Sachsen hat sich seit dem Jahr 1969 zunehmend auf die Herstellung von PKW-Anhängern spezialisiert. Schon 1985 lag die – damals noch staatlich verordnete – Jahresproduktion bei 17.300 Stück. Legendär und nicht nur in der DDR gefragt war der „HP400“. Er wurde zwischen 1970 und 1989 in Großenhain hergestellt und gilt als Kultobjekt dieser Zeit. Heute ist die STEMA Metalleichtbau GmbH einer der größten Hersteller von Fahrzeuganhängern in Deutschland, produziert mit derzeit 164 Mitarbeitern und 16 Auszubildenden jährlich ca. 45.000 PKW-Anhänger. Zum Sortiment in geprüfter deutscher Qualität gehören Motorrad-, Baumaschinen-, Fahrzeugtransporter und Kipper.
