Die 1990 gegründete LEHNER GmbH ist spezialisiert auf die Entwicklung und Produktion intelligenter Sensoren, Sensorsysteme und Automatisierungen für die graphische Industrie, den Sondermaschinenbau und die Biotechnologie. Das Produktportfolio umfasst u.a. smarte Hologramm-, Kontrast-, Spaltmaß- und Oberflächensensoren, Oberflächenelektroden, komplette x/y-Positioniertische, Kamerasysteme sowie Komponenten der Automatisierung wie Daten- und Energie-Transpondersysteme. Ein Schwerpunkt ist die Entwicklung und Umsetzung kompletter Workflow-Lösungen für die Industrie 4.0 Dafür erarbeitet LEHNER mit seinen Kunden umfassende Konzepte und liefert die kompletten Nachrüstungen. LEHNER Lösungen sind für ihre Anwender echte Alleinstellungsmerkmale. 

Besondere Kompetenzen besitzt LEHNER in den Bereichen Entwicklung und Produktion. Das Leistungsspektrum umfasst eine eigene Optik-Simulation, komplexes Data-Mining, die kundenspezifische Soft- und Hardwareentwicklung, mechanische Konstruktion und die technische und personelle Ausstattung für den Prototypenbau sowie die B2B-Serienfertigung. Das Entwicklerteam kooperiert eng mit seinen Auftraggebern und Hochschulen und erweitert regelmäßig seine Kompetenzen.

LEHNER ist Kompetenzträger der Industrie 4.0 und verlässlicher B2B-Partner zahlreicher Weltmarktführer der graphischen Industrie. Die LEHNER GmbH ist Mitglied im Kompetenznetz Mechatronik e.V., dem BDS Kirchheim/Teck sowie der BioRegioStern. Zahlreiche Auszeichnung belegen den hohen Innovationsgehalt der LEHNER-Systemlösungen: „365 Orte im Land der Ideen“; „CyberOne“, „PrintStar“, „Übermorgenmacher“.
