greenable GmbH

Der Ursprung von greenable entstand in der anwendungsnahen Forschung am Lehrstuhl für Fertigungstechnik und Betriebsorganisation der RPTU Kaiserslautern. Während seiner Promotion hat Patrick die grundlegende Idee zu greenable entworfen. Im späten Herbst 2020 wurde es konkreter und die Entwicklung einer Software, um den CO₂-Fußabdruck von Produkten zu berechnen mit dem langfristigen Ziel, Emissionen auf Produktebene einfach managen zu können, war geboren. Als Team haben sich Patrick, Lucas, Viktor und Alexander im Frühjahr 2021 zusammengeschlossen und begonnen, diese Idee zu realisieren.

Der erste große Meilenstein war das EXIST-Gründerstipendiums gefördert durch das BMWK. Kurz darauf folgte auch schon die Gründung der greenable GmbH mit Sitz in Kaiserslautern. Die Vision von Beginn an war klar: Wir schaffen Transparenz über Branchen, Lieferketten und Grenzen hinweg. Daran gekoppelt ist die Mission, den produzierenden Mittelstand zu befähigen, den CO₂-Fußabdruck von Produkten zu berechnen, offenzulegen und zu reduzieren.

Im Sommer 2023 der nächste wichtige Meilenstein: Sicherung einer Pre-Seed Finanzierung gemeinsam mit der Investitions- und Strukturbank Rheinland-Pfalz (ISB) und vier Business Angels. Mittlerweile sind wir als junges GreenTech Start-Up mehrfach ausgezeichnet, u.a. als Start-Up des Jahres 2022 in Rheinland-Pfalz und Gewinner bei „startup innovativ RLP“.
