Gesellschaft zur Förderung angewandter Informatik e.V (GFaI)

Die Gesellschaft zur Förderung angewandter Informatik e. V. (GFaI) ist eine industrienahe Forschungseinrichtung mit über 30 Jahren Erfahrung in der angewandten Informatik. Wir entwickeln praxisorientierte IT-Lösungen für Unternehmen und Institutionen, insbesondere in den Bereichen optische Mess- und Prüftechnik, Schall und Schwingungen, 3D-Datenverarbeitung, Robotik, Energie- und Umwelttechnik, Netzwerkinfrastruktur sowie wissensbasierte Dialogsysteme.

Neben der Forschung engagiert sich die GFaI in der Ausbildung und Qualifizierung von Fachkräften. In Zusammenarbeit mit Hochschulen fördern wir den Wissenstransfer und begleiten Studierende sowie Nachwuchstalente auf ihrem Weg in die Praxis.
 
Zusammen mit ihren Tochterunternehmen gfai tech GmbH und Adalogic GmbH unterstützt die GFaI den Transfer von Innovationen in den Mittelstand Deutschlands und setzt Impulse für digitale und nachhaltige Entwicklungen.
