futureprojects GmbH

futureprojects wurde im März 2021 in Dresden gegründet und hat zum Ziel, innovative Software zu erforschen, zu entwickeln und zu betrieben. Der Fokus liegt auf dem Bereich der Bürgerbeteiligung und der kollaborativen Projektplanung. Gründer Norbert Rost ist 1976 in der Lausitz geboren und aufgewachsen und hat Wirtschaftsinformatik an der Technischen Universität Dresden studiert. Seit über 20 Jahren beschäftigt sich Rost mit Nachhaltigkeitsthemen und leitete unter anderem die „Zukunftststadt Dresden“. Aus diesen Erfahrungen entstand die Idee, digitale Werkzeuge für neue Formen der Bürgerbeteiligung zu entwickeln.

Das Unternehmen und die Entwicklung der digitalen Projektfabrik wurde durch die Sächsische Aufbaubank, das Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz sowie das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung gefördert.
