EFCO wurde 1992 in Taiwan gegründet und ist aus deutscher Sicht mit rund 150 Mitarbeitern der solide Mittelständler unter den IPC-Produzenten. Gut 20 Ingenieure sorgen dafür, dass das Unternehmen eine ganze Reihe von leistungsstarken, lüfterlosen Rechner-Plattformen für den industriellen Einsatz anbietet - bis hin zu einem Hutschienen-IPC, bei dem sich alle Anschlüsse vorne befinden. Das in Taiwan ansässige Unternehmen verfügt über eigene Niederlassungen in USA (Las Vegas), in Europa (UK und Deutschland) sowie in China (Shenzhen).
