ZVEI: Engpass bei Rohstoffversorgung droht

Der ZVEI - Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie sorgt sich um die Versorgung der deutschen Elektroindustrie mit wichtigen Rohstoffen. "Besonders kritisch hat sich der Markt für Seltene Erden durch die Exportrestriktionen in China entwickelt", sagte der Vorsitzende der ZVEI-Geschäftsführung, Dr. Klaus Mittelbach, vor der Eröffnung des BDI-Rohstoffkongresses am morgigen Dienstag. "China hat die Ausfuhr von 60.000 Tonnen auf 38.000 Tonnen in diesem Jahr gedrosselt, wodurch sich unter anderem der Preis von Samarium verneunfacht hat." Für 2011 ist nicht ausgeschlossen, dass China seine Ausfuhren weiter drosselt.
