Bereits viermal konnte YOKOHAMA am legendären Pikes Peak beweisen, dass alternative Antriebe und Motorsport hervorragend harmonieren. Am 12. August nahm der japanische Reifenhersteller zusammen mit der Toyota Motorsport GmbH erneut in der Kategorie für Elektroautos am berühmtesten Bergrennen der Welt teil.
Nach zwei Rekorden mit einem eigenen Fahrzeug in den Jahren 2010 und 2011 setzte nun erneut ein YOKOHAMA-bereiftes Fahrzeug Maßstäbe. Der straßenzugelassene Semislick-Reifen ADVAN A048, der weltweit in vielen Rennserien eingesetzt wird, bewährte sich auf dem Toyota hervorragend.
