Ab sofort haben iPhone-Nutzer mit YellowMap ihren persönlichen Assistenten für die lokale Suche an ihrer Seite. Die Applikation steht im App Store kostenfrei zum Download bereit und bietet alle nötigen Informationen für die schnelle Orientierung vor Ort. "Mit YellowMap kennen iPhone-User ihre direkte Umgebung wie ihre Westentasche, auch wenn sie sich in einer fremden Stadt aufhalten", sagt Martin Hubschneider, Vorstandsvorsitzender der YellowMap AG aus Karlsruhe.

Automatische Lokalisierung der Suchergebnisse

Möglich ist der YellowMap-Service mithilfe des 3G iPhone. Es errechnet automatisch den aktuellen, geographischen Standort des Nutzers.
