New in the App Store: stay up to date on oil and gas with the Wintershall app

Kassel, (PresseBox) - With the fast and easy-to-use app from Wintershall, you can now see the latest news in Wintershall's oil and gas world with just one tap on the iPad. The newsroom of the new Wintershall app bundles together press releases, Twitter news, Facebook posts and oil and gas news for your reading convenience. You can likewise find the latest You-Tube videos, images and focal topics. In addition, there's also a virtual journey in the company's core regions, current facts and figures at a glance as well as various ways to contact Wintershall.

"After the recent relaunch of our website and the expansion of our social media activities, the app is another step towards offering our information in a more targeted manner that makes full use of multimedia," says Stefan Leunig, press spokesman of Wintershall. "All important information is now bundled together for mobile access via an app." By providing a representative picture of Wintershall, the aim is to bring people closer to the international activities of Germany's largest producer of crude oil and natural gas. Further updates and functions are currently being planned in cooperation with the online agency Paints Multimedia GmbH.

The Wintershall app can be downloaded from the Apple app store. It has initially been optimised in German and English (language options) for the iPad. Versions for the iPhone and Android will follow.
