Auf der Fachmesse Avionics in Amsterdam stellt Wind River, Spezialist für Lösungen zur Optimierung von Geräte-Software und deren Entwicklungsprozessen, die Wind River Platform Safety Critical ARINC 653 in den Mittel-punkt. Die Plattform umfasst die Komponenten RTOS VxWorks653 und die Eclipsebasierte Entwicklungsumgebung Wind River Workbench einschließlich Netzwerk-Stacks und Middleware. Ergänzt wird die Präsentation durch Demonstrationen von Modular Open System Architecture (MOSArt) des belgischen Entwicklers von Display- und Visualisierungslösungen Barco. MOSArt ist die Hardware-Plattform für Entwicklung und Betrieb von Echtzeit-Display-Lösungen in Flugzeugen auf der Basis der Wind River Platform Safety Critical ARINC 653.
