Wincor Nixdorf SB-Systeme erhalten Zulassung in Australien

Wincor Nixdorf ist der weltweit erste Hersteller von Geldautomaten, der eine Zertifizierung seiner SB-Systeme nach den Anforderungen der neuen australischen 2 CECS Vorschrift (Consumer Electronic Clearing System) erhalten hat. Nach der erfolgreichen Zertifizierung ist Wincor Nixdorf nun in der Lage seine System in den Netzwerke der australischen Banken zu installieren. Die Zertifizierung, die am April begonnen hatte, wird von der austalischen Payments Clearings Association (APCA) durchgeführt. Damit wird sichergestellt, dass alle Geldautomaten und Terminals, mit denen elektronischer Zahlungsverkehr abgewickelt werden kann, bestimmten Standards genügen. Insbesondere werden Sicherheitsvorschriften zur Persönlichen Identifikationsnummer (PIN) geregelt.
