WISI bietet den Betreibern von Kabelnetzen und Kanalaufbereitungen mit dem neuen HDMI Encoder Modulator OE 01 eine kosteneffiziente Möglichkeit, ihre bestehenden TV-Programmangebote mit eigenen HD-Videoinhalten aus externen Signalquellen zu erweitern und aufzuwerten. Der kompakte OE 01 für die HD Video & Audio Encodierung moduliert ein HDMI-Signal in ein für die Verteilung über Koaxialkabel kompatibles HF-Signal. Die eingespeisten HDMI-Signale werden dabei in MPEG4 komprimiert und lassen sich von allen an das Verteilnetz angeschlossenen TV-Geräten mit MPEG4 kompatiblen Receivern empfangen und wiedergeben. Mit dem neuen Encoder Modulator adressiert WISI insbesondere Betreiber von BK-Verteilstrukturen in Hotels, Krankenhäusern, Freizeiteinrichtungen, Seniorenzentren und Wohnheimen.
