Der Kauf eines Erdgasfahrzeuges ist in Zeiten explodierender Kraftstoffpreise besonders attraktiv. Ein aktueller Reichweitenvergleich am Beispiel des VW Passat zeigt, wie deutlich der finanzielle Unterschied zu den herkömmlichen Kraftstoffen ausfällt. Genau 468 Kilometer schafft der Erdgas betriebene Passat TSI EcoFuel mit einer Tankfüllung im Wert von 20 Euro. Das Dieselmodel legt bei vergleichbarer Leistung 297 Kilometer zurück. Nur 179 Kilometer weit kommt hingegen der Benziner mit Super-Benzin im Tank. Grundlage der Berechnung sind die Verbrauchsangaben des Herstellers sowie die aktuellen durchschnittlichen Kraftstoffpreise in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
