Unter dem Dach der WENZEL Group GmbH & Co. KG hat der Messtechnikhersteller aus Wiesthal zum 5. Dezember 2016 die WENZEL Software Solutions GmbH gegründet. In dem neuen Unternehmen werden alle Softwareaktivitäten der WENZEL Gruppe koordiniert. Mit dieser strategischen Entscheidung verfolgt WENZEL das Ziel, vorhandene Kompetenzen zu synchronisieren und Synergieeffekte zu schaffen.

Die Gründung des neuen Unternehmens reflektiert den steigenden Stellenwert von Softwarelösungen in den Bereichen Koordinaten- und Verzahnungsmesstechnik, Computertomographie, Optischem High Speed Scanning und Styling Solutions.
