The Italians are no.1 on the pitch. But for the newspaper industry, this is not yet decided: Until the end of July, newspaper publishers from all over the world can apply for the Ifra XMA Cross Media Awards 2006. The awards honour the most innovative and creative special projects organised by newspapers around the Football World Cup 2006 – and a lot of really exciting projects have been implemented. Applications can be made very easily online at www.ifra.com/xma. A jury of internationally renowned experts will rate the submissions.
