Auf der Kunststoffmesse K 2007 präsentiert der Münchner Chemiekonzern WACKER neuartige Flüssigsiliconkautschuke, die zu Elastomeren mit einer stark reibungsverminderten Oberfläche vulkanisieren. Diese Silicontypen, die unter dem Namen ELASTOSIL® LR 3065 vertrieben werden, stellen wegen ihrer Oberflächeneigenschaften in vielen Fällen eine Alternative zu ölausschwitzenden Siliconprodukten dar. Die K 2007 findet heuer vom 24. bis 31. Oktober 2007 in Düsseldorf statt.

Formteile, die aus den neuen Flüssigsiliconkautschuken der Reihe ELASTOSIL® LR 3065 hergestellt werden, haben sofort nach der Fertigung eine gleitfähige Oberfläche, ohne dass Öl austritt. Dies führt zu einer ganz besonderen Haptik, die bisher bei Siliconelastomeren nicht bekannt war.
