EuroVis nächstes Jahr in Wien

Zum 14. Mal abgehalten, 2012 erstmals als Konferenz geführt

Das wichtigste europäische Visualisierungssymposium, EuroVis, kommt 2012 in die Bundeshauptstadt. Die Veranstaltung wird zum 14. Mal gemeinsam von der Eurographics Working Group on Data Visualization und dem IEEE Visualization and Graphics Technical Committee abgehalten. 2012 zeichnet für die EuroVis ein wichtiges Jahr: sie wird erstmals als Konferenz geführt. Organisatoren vor Ort sind das Institut für Computergraphik und Algorithmen an der Technischen Universität Wien unter der Leitung von Univ.-Prof. Dr. Eduard Gröller sowie das VRVis am Veranstaltungsort TechGate Vienna. Ziel der Veranstaltung ist die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Wissenschaft und Industrie zu stärken und junge ForscherInnen für die Materie zu begeistern. Derzeit werden
