Vision Components, a market leader in the field of industrial image processing, presents the new VC4472 Smart Camera which is suitable even for highly demanding applications. Its most striking feature is a 1 1/8" CCD sensor with a 1,600 x 1,200 pixel resolution and a maximum frame rate of 10 fps (20 fps in binning mode). Incorporating the latest Texas Instruments DSP generation (1 GHz, 8,000 MIPS), the VC4472 is among the fastest intelligent cameras on the market. It features an 8 bit color overlay which can operate in an opaque or transparent mode.
