Auf der Vision 2006 präsentiert Viscom das Roboter-gestützte Inspektionssystem S3012ROB. Mit Hilfe dieses Roboters können komplexe 3D-Objekte rundum sicher geprüft werden.

Zu den typischen Inspektionsaufgaben in der industriellen Praxis gehört oft die Rundum-Inspektion von montierten oder bearbeiteten Objekten. In metallverarbeitenden Unternehmen ist z.B. häufig die objektive optische Endprüfung eines gesägten, gefrästen und gebohrten Metallteiles gefordert. Überprüft werden dabei die Maßhaltigkeit der bearbeiteten Strukturen sowie die unbeschädigte Oberfläche im Bearbeitungsbereich. Das Konzept S3012ROB von Viscom erweist sich dabei als bestmögliche Lösung.

Das System S3012ROB ist im optimalen Fall mit starr montierten Kameras ausgestattet. Der Prüfling wird dabei von Robotern bewegt, so dass eine Prüfung aller sechs Seiten möglich ist. Die aufwändigere Kamerabewegung ist in besonderen Anwendungsfällen auch möglich.
