Fahrzeugbestand wird immer sauberer

Der Fahrzeugbestand in Deutschland ist im vergangenen Jahr deutlich sauberer geworden. Laut aktuellen Zahlen des Kraftfahrt-Bundesamtes stieg die Anzahl von Pkw der Emissionsklasse Euro 6 um knapp 25 Prozent auf rund 15,4 Millionen. Außerdem fahren bereits 3,5 Millionen Pkw auf den Straßen, die sogar die besonders anspruchsvolle Euro-6d-temp-Norm erfüllen. Im vergangenen Jahr sind rund 2,4 Millionen Pkw mit Euro 5 oder schlechter aus dem Bestand verschwunden. Seit Anfang 2016 wurden knapp 10 Millionen höher emittierende Pkw ausgetauscht.

Die wirksame Bestanderneuerung mit sauberen Fahrzeugen trägt entscheidend zur positiven Entwicklung der Luftqualität bei. Das belegen auch die Zahlen des Umweltbundesamtes zur Einhaltung
