Deutsche Hersteller steigern in 2007 ihren Pkw-Marktanteil in den USA auf über 10 Prozent

Die deutschen Hersteller wachsen auf dem US-Markt gegen den Trend und steigerten ihren Marktanteil in 2007 im Pkw-Bereich auf über 10 Prozent. Auch im "Light Truck"-Segment waren sie sehr erfolgreich. Insgesamt verkauften sie im vergangenen Jahr mit 948.000 "Light Vehicles" 3 Prozent mehr Fahrzeuge, während der gesamte US-Markt um knapp 3 Prozent auf 16,1 Mio. "Light Vehicles" zurückging.

Bei den Pkw setzten die deutschen Hersteller mit 768.000 Einheiten 1 Prozent mehr Fahrzeuge ab, während der Gesamtmarkt um 3 Prozent nachgab. Bei den "Light Trucks" legte der Absatz der deutschen Marken sogar um 14 Prozent zu, der Gesamtmarkt gab um 2 Rcphgii lxnm.
