Mit einer Feier in der Villa Eberhardt hat die Universität Ulm dieser Tage fast zwei Dutzend Dienstjubilare für eine langjährige Tätigkeit im öffentlichen Dienst ausgezeichnet, nämlich 40 oder 25 Jahre. Uni-Präsident Professor Karl Joachim Ebeling bezeichnete die Jubilare als Kerntruppe des Universitätsbetriebs. Dabei sei Kontinuität generell ein wichtiges Merkmal der Arbeit im öffentlichen Dienst. Unabhängig davon gebe es gute Gründe, über ein Jubiläum nicht so einfach hinweg zu gehen. Vielmehr sei es ein guter Anlass, über die eigene Arbeit nachzudenken, Bilanz zu ziehen und auch darüber zu reden.
