Universität und Klinikum gründen gemeinsame "Projektgruppe Alzheimer-Forschung Ulm" / Öffentliche Vorträge zu Krankheitsentstehung und Behandlungsmöglichkeiten

Am Montag, den 2. Dezember 2013, findet im Zentrum für Biomedizinische Forschung (ZBF/ZKF) die öffentliche Auftaktveranstaltung zur Gründung einer interdisziplinären Alzheimer-Forschungsgruppe statt. Eröffnet wird diese im Seminarraum 1.24 (Helmholtzstraße 8/1) um 14:00 Uhr durch Professor Albert Ludolph, dem Ärztlichen Direktor der Abteilung Neurologie der Universität Ulm. Im Anschluss wird Professorin Christine von Arnim, Oberärztin an der Klinik für Neurologie, über Entstehung, Krankheitsverlauf und Behandlungsmöglichkeiten von Alzheimer informieren. Danach wird Dr. Holger Rosenbrock von Boehringer Ingelheim über aktuelle Forschungsaktivitäten zur Entwicklung von Alzheimer-Medikamenten berichten.
