In Stockholm wurden gestern die Träger des diesjährigen Nobelpreises für Physik bekannt gegeben. Der Preis geht an den Belgier François Englert und den Briten Peter W. Higgs. Die beiden Wissenschaftler werden für die "theoretische Entdeckung der Mechanismen, die notwendig sind für unser Verständnis des Ursprungs der Masse subatomarer Teilchen" ausgezeichnet.
