Moleküle analysieren: Internationale Summer School für angehende Biologen und Umweltforscher

Angehende Biologen und Umweltwissenschaftler aus Brasilien, China und mehreren europäischen Ländern kommen nächste Woche zu einer internationalen Summer School ans Institut für Chemie und Biologie des Meeres (ICBM) der Universität Oldenburg. Am ICBM-Standort Wilhelmshaven werden sich die 14 Studierenden und Doktoranden fünf Tage lang mit "Computational Molecular Analysis" befassen, also der computerbasierten Auswertung molekular-genetischer Datensätze. Deren unterschiedliche Analysemethoden vermitteln der ICBM-Meeresforscher Dr. Thorsten Brinkmann sowie vier weitere Dozenten von den Universitäten Kopenhagen und München, vom Bremer Max-Planck-Institut für Marine Mikrobiologie und dem Deutschen Zentrum für Marine Biodiversitätsforschung in Wilhelmshaven.

Die Summer School erhält über die naturwissenschaftliche Graduiertenschule OLTECH Fördermittel des
