"Aktuelle Perspektiven und Entwicklungen der Gender-Forschung in Niedersachsen" sind Themen einer Konferenz, die das Zentrum für interdisziplinäre Frauen- und Geschlechterforschung (ZFG) in Kooperation mit der Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft der Einrichtungen für Frauen- und Geschlechterforschung in Niedersachsen (LAGEN) am Sonnabend, 19. Im Mittelpunkt steht der erste Bericht der Wissenschaftlichen Kommission Niedersachsen zur Genderforschung. "Bemerkenswert und innovativ" - so stuft er die Universität Oldenburg ein. Diese Gütekriterien basieren auf einer 2011/2012 im Auftrag des Niedersächsischen Ministeriums für Wissenschaft und Kultur (MWK) durchgeführten Evaluation.
