Mit wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten, Technologieplattformen und Produktentwicklungen zu allen Gebieten der Pathogenese, Prävention, Diagnostik und Therapie von Infektionskrankheiten von Mensch und Tieren beschäftigt sich das 1. Leipziger Human- und Tiermedizin-Symposium zu Infektion und Immunität. Veranstaltet wird das Forum zur Infektionsforschung und -entwicklung in Mitteldeutschland vom Verbund Infektionsmedizin an der Universität Leipzig.
