International Summer School "Changing Europe" an der Uni Bremen

Vom 28. Juli bis 3. August 2008 sind über 40 Doktoranden, Professorinnen und Professoren aus aller Welt an der Universität Bremen zu Gast: Sie diskutieren ihre Forschungsarbeiten, die sich alle unter der Dachmarke "Osteuropa in einer globalisierten Welt" zusammenfinden. Die Vielfalt der Forschungsthemen ist breit gefächert - das Spektrum reicht von "Schwule in Polen" über "ausländische Direktinvestitionen" bis hin zu "Energie in Zentralasien." Über 200 Nachwuchswissenschaftler haben sich für die Teilnahme in Bremen beworben, nur 26 konnten angenommen werden. Seit 2006 organisiert die Forschungsstelle Osteuropa die "Changing Europe Summer School", die von der VolkswagenStiftung als Gesamtprojekt (für alle drei Summer
