Ubisoft kündigte auf der Game Accessibility Conference die Einführung von Chroma an, einem Echtzeit-Simulator für Farbenblindheit. Chroma wurde entwickelt, um die Lücke zwischen kreativer Vision und Barrierefreiheit zu schließen. Es ermöglicht Entwickler:innen und Kreativ-Schaffenden, ihre Inhalte durch die Augen von farbenblinden Nutzer:innen zu erleben – und ebnet so den Weg für eine inklusivere Zukunft im Gaming und in allen Medienformen. Das Tool ist ab sofort als Open Source frei verfügbar, sodass Teams in der gesamten Branche es leicht in ihre Arbeitsabläufe integrieren und von Anfang an mit Barrierefreiheit im Hinterkopf entwickeln können.
