Swiss-based u‑blox (SIX:UBXN), a leading provider of wireless and GPS/GNSS semiconductor components, announces the opening of an LTE RF (Radio Frequency) design center in Cork, Ireland. It is the company's fourth R&D center focusing on chip design for embedded 4G wireless communications.
The new center complements u-blox' 4G/LTE baseband design activities located in Thalwil, Switzerland, Melbourn, UK and Leuven, Belgium.
