Die TX Logistik AG baut ihre Intermodalverbindungen zwischen Deutschland und Italien weiter aus. Zum 22. Februar wird das zur Mercitalia-Gruppe gehörende Eisenbahnlogistikunternehmen die Zahl der wöchentlichen Rundläufe auf der Strecke zwischen Rostock und Verona von vier auf sechs erweitern. Grund für die höhere Frequenz ist die gestiegene Nachfrage nach Trailer-Transporten auf der Schiene.

Bereits in den ersten Wochen des Jahres hat TX Logistik die Zugdichte nach Italien auf weiteren Relationen erhöht. So wurde die Verbindung zwischen Leipzig und dem rund zehn Kilometer westlich von Verona gelegenen Sommacampagna-Sona um zwei weitere Umläufe von acht auf zehn pro Woche aufgestockt.
