In der Praxis greifen Konstrukteure zunehmend auf virtuelle Bauteilbibliotheken sowie e-Kataloge zu und verkürzen damit erheblich Ihre Konstruktionszeiten. Vor diesem Hintergrund hat die Siegener KABELSCHLEPP GmbH den bisherigen 2D- und 3D-Datenbestand im Internet umfangreich erweitert. Mit CAD-Bauteilbibliotheken lassen sich Design- und Konstruktionsprozesse deutlich beschleunigen. Nutzern stehen für Millionen Produktmodelle immer aktuelle Daten zur Verfügung, neue werden ständig aufgenommen. So wurden den Bauteilbibliotheken PARTserver von Cadenas und powerPARTS von TraceParts im ersten Halbjahr 2007 zahlreiche neue Produktdaten aus dem Energieführungsketten-Programm von KABELSCHLEPP hinzugefügt und für Anwender weltweit nutzbar gemacht.
