At TRS-STAR GmbH is the new 20W DC-DC train power supply family 98DW-R3 from Yuan Dean Scientific Ltd. (YDS) available with an efficiency of up to 89%.

The compact power modules in a 6-pin DIL housing (50.8 x 25.4 x 10.6mm) are designed in accordance with the EN50155 standard for use in the railway sector and with the 4: 1 ultra-wide input voltage range in 24V, 48V -, 96V and 110V on-board systems can be used.

Depending on the model, the short-circuit proof converters offer single and dual output voltages from 3.3V to 15V with an insulation voltage of 1.6kV
