Der IT-Spezialist für externe Speichermedien, die Firma TrekStor aus Lorsch (Südhessen), hat den erstmals vergebenen Innovationspreis der PC-Welt auf der CeBIT erhalten.

Praktisch jeder aktuelle Computer, sei es ein Standard-PC oder ein Notebook, verfügt über einen USB-Anschluss. Dieser ist inzwischen für fast alle Peripherie-Geräte zur Schnittstelle Nr. 1 avanciert. Und genau diese Schnittstelle nutzt auch das inzwischen weit verbreitete Speichermedium zum schnellen und bequemen Datenaustausch: der USB-STICK. Vor mehr als zwei Jahren war es der Firma TrekStor in Zusammenarbeit mit einem asiatischen Partner gelungen, den USB-STICK zu entwickeln und auf den Markt zu bringen.
