transtec satisfied with first half year of 2010
Growth in incoming orders
(PresseBox) (Banbury, Oxfordshire, )"We are witnessing a rejuvenation of the market and the first signs that companies are starting to reinvest in IT. In small to mediumsized businesses especially, special solutions that generate cost savings are particularly in demand - this trend underlines our strategic company restructure", comments Hans-Jürgen Bahde, CEO of transtec AG. "We managed to double earnings with IT solutions and services in the first half of the year - highperformance and virtualisation solutions played an important role in this increase".
The Group's earnings amounted to 19.1 million euros in the first six months of 2010, which were down by 5.6 percent on last year's amount. The international IT supplier believes this is the result of the lack of investment in 2009 which considerably left its mark on the invoices in the first quarter of 2010.
Due to the rise in incoming orders and the steady recuperation of the IT market, transtec predicts for 2010 increasing profits in all organisational units of the transtec Group. The IT supplier expects a positive annual result from 2011 onwards.
