Transcend kündigt für Mitte November 2003 seinen neuen USB 2.0 CardBus-Adapter an. Der CardBus-Adapter für Notebooks hat zwei externe USB-Anschlüsse, entspricht der Spezifikation von USB 2.0 und ist abwärtskompatibel zu USB 1.1. Durch seinen 32Bit-CardBus-TypII-Anschluss ist der Adapter der ideale Begleiter für Notebooks mit CardBus-Unterstützung. Fotos unter:

Mit einer max. Datenübertragungsrate von 480Mbit/Sekunde (60MB/Sek.) lassen sich Daten sehr schnell auf externe Medien, wie z.B. auf Transcends externe Festplatte übertragen. Mit einem Ausgangsstrom von max. 500mA und einer Ausgangsspannung von 5V je Port kann nahezu jedes USB unterstützende Peripheriegerät, z.B. CD-RW, DVD-R, Drucker, Scanner oder Digitalkamera,
