ThyssenKrupp Elevator, one of the world’s leading manufacturers, installers and service providers of vertical and horizontal transportation technology, was awarded a contract to install all 71 elevators, nine escalators and the maintenance in the Freedom Tower, New York City. This is one of the largest orders in ThyssenKrupp Elevator history.
Freedom Tower is under construction at the site of the former World Trade Center, and is scheduled to be complete in December 2011.
