Mitte Oktober konnte das SunCruiser Team der Hochschule Bochum bei der Awards Night in Adelaide jubeln: Der PowerCore SunCruiser - ein in Zusammenarbeit von Hochschule Bochum und ThyssenKrupp entwickeltes, solarbetriebenes High-Tech Fahrzeug neuester Generation - hat bei der härtesten Solarauto-Rallye der Welt, der "World Solar Challenge" in Australien, den zweiten Platz geholt. Dass in Stahl großes Potenzial auch für die zukunftsträchtige Elektromobilität steckt, stellt ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe mit dem PowerCore SunCruiser auf der diesjährigen Blechexpo in Stuttgart vom 5. bis 8. November in Halle 5, Stand 5307, unter Beweis.
