The special structural steels from ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe previously marketed under the brand name PAS® are now called PERFORM®. High strength and ready formability remain the main features of this range of steels. PERFORM® was specially developed for cold forming, so it is ideally suited for reducing weight in the construction of commercial vehicles and mobile cranes, where parts are exposed to high stresses as a result of their own weight, heavy loads and uneven road surfaces.
