ThyssenKrupp Bausysteme GmbH has sold its manufacturing plant for insulated doors in Pansdorf, Schleswig-Holstein, effective February 1, 2010. The plant mainly produces hinged and sliding doors for cold and freezer rooms as well as numerous custom fabrications. The purchaser is the newly formed company ems Isoliertüren GmbH.
Sole proprietor and managing director of the company is Wilhelm Dück, who previously worked as plant manager at the Pansdorf site. ems Isoliertüren GmbH will continue to operate with its current workforce. As part of the transaction 37 employees will transfer to the new company.
