Der ehemalige TLM-Direktor, Victor Henle erhielt beim Landespresseball am 1. Juni 2007 den Thüringer Journalistenpreis 2007. Verliehen wird der mit 2.500 Euro dotierte Preis vom Deutschen Journalistenverband (DJV) Thüringen und vom Sparkassen- und Giroverband Hessen-Thüringen. Das Votum der fünfköpfigen Jury war einstimmig.
