TI Introduces Miniature, 1-W DC/DC Converters with 3-kV Isolation

Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE: TXN) today introduced a 1-W, unregulated DC/DC converter in a miniature package that features 3-kV isolation. The new DCH01 family of plug-in power modules operates from a 5-V input and provides single voltages of 5 V, 12 V, and 15 V and complementary dual-output voltages of ±5 V, ±12 V and ±15 V. The tiny modules are ideal for industrial applications such as data acquisition, motor control, programmable logic control, test and measurement, medical instrumentation and professional audio.
