About the Presenters
Jawaid Ahmad, strategic product manager for PCI Express and Cardbus products within TI’s Digital Interface Business Unit, has almost 20 years semiconductor industry experience. Prior to joining TI, he held engineering, marketing and management positions at Siliconix, Crystal Semiconductor, Cirrus Logic, Winbond Electronics and National Semiconductor.
Ahmad earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Bangalore University, a master of science in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso and a master of business administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
As product line manager for Altera, Stephen Lim is responsible for the product marketing and management of low-cost products including the Cyclone series FPGAs. Lim has more than 10 years of experience working in the storage, networking and semiconductor industries in various engineering and marketing roles. He earned bachelor of science and master of science degrees in electrical engineering and a master of business administration from Cornell University.
