Das Quectel EC20 ist ein high-performance LTE Funkmodul der neuesten Generation. Mit seiner innovativen Technologie erreicht das EC20 Datenraten bis zu 100Mbit/s im Downstream und bis zu 50Mbit/s im Upstream (3GPP Rel.p, LTE Cat 3).

Das EC20-E unterstützt multiband FDD-LTE (B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20), inklusive HSPA/UMTS und EDGE/GPRS in einem robusten LCC Gehäuse für PCB-Integration oder als Mini-PCIe Karte für modulare embedded Systeme.

Das EC20 ist mit dem äußerst erfolgreichen UMTS-Modul UC20 formfaktor-kompatibel. Ein nahtloser Migrationspfad von 3G zu 4G Technologie ist somit gewährleistet.

Antennenseitig nutzt das EC20 LTE Modul MIMO-Technologie, um mehrere Datenströme parallel an unterschiedliche Empfangsantennen der jeweiligen Basisstation ausliefern
