Durch die exklusive quad4-Technologie, die Bestandteil der Mikroplatten-Reader Infinite™ M200 and Safire2™ ist, wird Streulicht um einen Faktor von 106 blockiert. Dies ist mehr, als dies bei typischen dualen Monochromatorkonfigurationen der Fall ist, wodurch die Empfindlichkeit und die Qualität von Wellenlängenspektren verbessert werden, ohne dass eine Filteroptimierung erforderlich wäre. Unerwünschtes Streulicht und das sich daraus ergebende Rauschen sind die wichtigsten Faktoren, welche die Leistung und Empfindlichkeit von Mikroplatten-Readern beeinflussen. Bei Monochromatoren werden die unerwünschten Wellenlängen normalerweise um einen Faktor von zehn hoch drei reduziert. Somit wird durch den Einsatz von vier anstatt der üblichen zwei Monochromatoren mehr Streulicht blockiert und
